Kaixo! I’m Gartzen Martínez Sagarna, a Basque photographer based in Barcelona, working worldwide.

My photography moves between art and commercial work, blending empathy, strong visual impact and narrative sensitivity. What matters to me is creating images that feel authentic, emotional, and deeply connected to people and places.

What defines my style is the ability to capture both motion and essence — action that feels alive, portraits that feel true.

With a BA in Photography from the University of Gloucestershire (2002) and professional experience in London, Amsterdam, and Barcelona, I’ve built a personal approach that resonates with brands, agencies, and individuals who want their stories told through powerful imagery.
