Shot on the shores of the Bay of Bengal, this project tells the story of Thaman and his family, whose lives are deeply intertwined with the ocean. Murthy, once a fisherman, transformed his passion for the sea into a new path through surfing—self-taught, persistent, and driven by a vision that would eventually give rise to a local surf school serving both the community and visiting travelers.

At the center stands Thaman, growing up with a surfboard under his arm and the rhythm of the waves shaping his days. Alongside his parents and brother, he embodies a way of life rooted in generosity, resilience, and connection to the sea—a quiet portrait of family, legacy, and belonging.
